Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address and which side of the river you're on, so the right company gets the request
- Your radon result, if you have one, and whether it came from a kit or a professional monitor
- Your foundation: full basement, crawl space, slab, or a mix from additions
- Whether the basement is finished, or whether the house was rebuilt or moved after 1997
- If you're buying or selling, your inspection deadline and closing date
